The item comes with a control panel HUD that allows you to set the color, shape and size of the eyes. Also included are the eyeball body part in black and white.

The Punta Cat Eyes are availble from our mainstore location in Pull d’Vagin.

The total diameter of the building, including the light beam, is 20 meters. By default the light beam automatically switched on when the sun goes down and switches back on when the sun comes up on the sim. You can also choose for a fixed setting (on or off).

An in-world example can be seen at the Punta main store, there you can also purchase the item. The item is also for sale on Xstreet SL.

Because of that we will move the mainstore to a new location.. it should be up and running pretty soon..

Also, we will offer the sim for rent. So if you are interested, please contact me! You will get full rights over the sim and you can do with it what you want… you can subdivide parcels and for example re-rent them or build your own big city :)

It is totaly upgraded version, I started from scratch and rewrote all scripting inside the ScanHUD. The main reported bug in the version 1 was a memory shortage, I solved that so it shouldn’t be an issue anymore. Furthermore I spent some time creating new and updated functionallity, such as the teleports to nearby avatars. They are no longer presented as an url in the chat but they pop-up as a circle on the world-map. Also, it will show you the profile pic of the chosen user in your hud screen.

Another thing, it is no longer needed to choose a color before you buy. You can just choose the colors in the configuration of your Punta ScanHUD.

Most important for me; now it’s much easier to release new updates of the Punta ScanHUD. Through a special made advanced update system I am able to release new updates anytime I want, and you will all automatically get that new updates. Most updates won’t require a new objectin your inventory and are just script updates that are done within the running ScanHUD. As soon as a new version is available your Punta ScanHUD will automatically load and install it.

If you have any ideas of new functions or extensions on the Punta ScanHUD. Please leave me a comment on this post. I am already working on the next release. (also suggestions for the text/hud color options are very welcome!)

If you currently have a ScanHUD version 1, please send me a notecard in-world with your name and the version you have. Just copy and paste the contents of the ‘online’ notecard from the old into the new ScanHUD.

The tail is scripted and has a few functions in it. You can by just clicking it (or type ‘/78tail’ in the chat while wearing it) get the menu with options. In the options you will find a few wiggle types. Just choose one to change the way your tail wiggles.

The tail is set that it can be worn on the pelvis and stomach. (default is set to stomach). If you want to change the position of the tail on your avatar i recommend to do this as follows: Click your tail and choose ‘hold’ in the dialog menu. Now its easier to select the tail for editing the position. Set your tail in the right position and click it again. Now select ’save pos’ in the dialog. The tail will now save the position according to the way its attached. (so you can save the position for the stomach and pelvis seperatly) After you are ready and saved the position, just click the tail again and select one of the wiggle states (still, relax, happy or exited).

I made this last function (the save position) so it won’t mess up it’s position everytime you switch from stomach to pelvis or the other way around. It will just detect on which part its rezzed and then correct its position if needed.

The whiskers can be attached to the nose and to the mouth. It will attach by default to the nose.

The skirts are seperate available in the main store and on slexchange. I made the skirts in Pink, Orange, Green and Blue. Click here to see all the pics.

Mainly i did a few updates in the scripting for the online list. In the older version it gave sometimes a online or offline message for users who didnt come online or offline… that was a lil disturbing, so i started the upgrade. I also upgraded some code to make the perform better and generate less lag…

the look; i also decided to make the thingy a bit better looking. Therefor, this version is now released in 3 different colors. A green one, blue one and a pink one :)

some main info;

The ScanHUD can be used (in SL) to see who is near you in the same sim. It can scan a range up to 96 meters. It shows u in order of the distance the avatars nearby. It will give a [W] behind the name if the avatar is walking, a [F] if he/she is flying, a [S] when its sitting on somewthing and a [M] when the person is in mouselook. Also it will give <busy> or <away> when that person is. You can lower the scan range by clicking on the HUD and choose ’set range’ in the dialog.

Also, you can make ur own ‘friends-list’ and see who is online and who is not. Handy for friends and enemy. It checks the online status right from the SecondLife dataserver, so ur friends can’t hide their online status for you when u are wearing this HUD. All you have to do, is put there UUID (userkey) in a notecard in the HUD. You probably don’t know your friends userkey without checking it somehwere, so… you can search it with the scanhud :) more then 12 milion userkeys are available in the database!

Looking up a userkey is very easy, just type (while wearing the HUD) in your chat: “/131lookup firstname lastname” (without the ” and where firstname lastname is the avatar name of the person you are looking up the key for). The HUD should give you within a few seconds the key where you are looking for, it shows up in your chat history where you can select and copy it.

Also, you can see the userkeys of the people who are in the range of 96 meters. Just click your HUD, and in teh dialog that pops up click ‘list keys’. Within a bit the ScanHUD will give you a list of the people around and their keys (UUID).

When you see somebody is near you on your scanner, but you can’t see the person… that can be sometimes a real big search. So i made it easy for you. Just click your HUD and in the dialog click on ‘teleports’. In a bit the HUD will give you all the teleport URL’s for the people near you. If you open your chat history thos URL’s are clickable, and right away it will give you a pop-up to teleport. The HUD is configured that it will drop you 1.5 meters above the avatars last position. If the avatar is moving you can offcourse drop a few meters away :)

In the package is included. A fence without barbwire, a fence with barbwire, a corner with barbwire and the middle pieces. The middle pieces are for those who want to link the fences to eachother.

Wrecked Boat:

As told in the previous post, the light beacon on the beach is out-of-service. So… i also made a wrecked boat for on the beach. I think it can be nicely used as a decoration. The real life picture i used to shape this boat showd me that those thing even can be found on plcaes where no water is… That’s still mindering me… how did that boat come there in the first place!?!

Ah well..

Oh… the boat is using a bit more prims then i usually put in objects.. 28 in total (pretty reasonable i guess)

This Light Beacon / Light Tower i made cause i needed some filling up on the seaside. The idea is a out-of-service light beacon. I used a picture from a real life out-of-service light beacon. The real one was just wrecked a little bit more. This one can be found on the Pull d’Vagin mall on Zafrira in the North-West corner on the beach (can’t miss it).

Urban Street Lamp and Urban Wall Lamp

Both are meant for outside usage (waterproof!). Real in-world examples are placed around the Punta mainstore at Pull d’Vagin.

Ceiling Lamp

Comes with 2 objects. One as shown below and one with a one broken light-pipe. It gives a little bit of light. Specialy made for hanging on the ceiling. Its made for usage in old buildings and shops…

In the centre of our mainshop you will see Punta Later, she is our in-world example model. On the vendors we placed example buttons, simple touch the button and Punta will dress herself in the clothes of that vendor. That way you can see in 3D what the clothing looks like.
